Dr. Alok Chaturvedi
Alok R. Chaturvedi is the Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Simulex. He is also a Professor of Management Information Systems at the Krannert Graduate School of Management and the Department of Computer Sciences (courtesy), the Director of Purdue Homeland Security Institute and the SEAS Laboratory at Purdue University.
He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is an accomplished teacher and has published extensively in major journals and conference proceedings. He also has extensive consulting experience with companies such as AT&T, IBM, Ameritech, Bell Atlantic, Abbott Labs, Ernst and Young, the U.S. Congress, and the U.S. Department of Defense. He is widely cited as an expert on information technology strategies in the news media and magazines such as BusinessWeek, IndustryWeek, and CIO Magazine.
Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi
Rashmi Chaturvedi is the Chief Financial Officer and the President of DoD Business at Simulex, Inc. She received her Ph.D. in International Relations and Organizational Behavior from Purdue University. She has held visiting faculty positions at Purdue University and St. Joseph’s college.
Dr. Chaturvedi's expertise includes foreign policy of nations, treaties and alliances, and political economy. She has led the team of researchers who provide the subject matter for the development of SEAS Virtual International System (SEAS-VIS) and modeling of Political, military, Economic, Social, Information, and Infrastructure of over 50 countries. SEAS-VIS is currently being used by many agencies within US Department of Defense.
Chee Mun Foong
Chee Mun Foong is the Vice President of Technology and Senior System Architect at Simulex, Inc. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University with a minor in Computer Science.
Mr. Foong joined Simulex in 1999 as the first employee of the company. He supervises the Simulex technical team and is instrumental in realizing the company's technical roadmap. He is one of the principal system architects behind the SEAS simulation technology, SimBridge, xNA and other experimental technologies under current development.
