The Executives
Dr. Alok Chaturvedi
Alok R. Chaturvedi is the Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Simulex. He is also a Professor of Management Information Systems at the Krannert Graduate School of Management and the Department of Computer Sciences (courtesy), the Director of Purdue Homeland Security Institute and the SEAS Laboratory at Purdue University.
He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is an accomplished teacher and has published extensively in major journals and conference proceedings. He also has extensive consulting experience with companies such as AT&T, IBM, Ameritech, Bell Atlantic, Abbott Labs, Ernst and Young, the U.S. Congress, and the U.S. Department of Defense. He is widely cited as an expert on information technology strategies in the news media and magazines such as BusinessWeek, IndustryWeek, and CIO Magazine.
Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi
Rashmi Chaturvedi is the Chief Financial Officer and the President of DoD Business at Simulex, Inc. She received her Ph.D. in International Relations and Organizational Behavior from Purdue University. She has held visiting faculty positions at Purdue University and St. Joseph’s college.
Dr. Chaturvedi's expertise includes foreign policy of nations, treaties and alliances, and political economy. She has led the team of researchers who provide the subject matter for the development of SEAS Virtual International System (SEAS-VIS) and modeling of Political, military, Economic, Social, Information, and Infrastructure of over 50 countries. SEAS-VIS is currently being used by many agencies within US Department of Defense.
Chee Mun Foong
Chee Mun Foong is the Vice President of Technology and Senior System Architect at Simulex, Inc. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University with a minor in Computer Science.
Mr. Foong joined Simulex in 1999 as the first employee of the company. He supervises the Simulex technical team and is instrumental in realizing the company's technical roadmap. He is one of the principal system architects behind the SEAS simulation technology, SimBridge, xNA and other experimental technologies under current development.
Will H Jordan
Will H Jordan is the Vice President for Operations, Technology Control Officer, and Senior Analyst at Simulex, Inc. He received his M.S. in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and his B.S. in Physics from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He held the faculty position of Professor of Naval Science at Purdue University.
Mr. Jordan joined Simulex in 2005 and was promoted in 2007. He has over 30 years of experience in team leadership and management in scientific, technical and educational programs. Mr. Jordan is instrumental in Simulex's continued growth and is an integral part of Simulex's strategic plans for the future. He works closely with his peers to drive the tactical and strategic direction for new business development. He has led several successful SEAS teams, providing program requirements assessment, analysis, guidance, training and directed support for multiple agencies, organizations, and companies in the deployment, operation and use of SEAS.
