There’s only one way to describe the atmosphere inside a young high-tech company—crackling with energy. Our diversity ensures that there is never a dull moment. Teamwork is not just a buzz word in our office, it’s what we do: everyone pulls together to solve problems and meet deadlines, and in-office foosball tourneys and carpools to local restaurants for lunch are the norm.
We work hard, but we play hard too. At Simulex, you’ll find musicians, beekeepers, volleyball players, ballroom dancers, volunteers, and self-admitted pseudo-intellectuals. Most of us are young, but all of us are experienced. We tend to work later than earlier and we love our jobs. We are always busy but camaraderie and humor keeps us from feeling stressed and the question our boss asks us most often is, “Are you having fun?”
Our 9,000 sq. ft. facilities are located in the Purdue Technology Center at the sprawling Purdue Research Park, recently ranked the #1 university research park in the country. About 70 other high-tech businesses call the Research Park home. The beautiful Purdue University campus is just down the road, and we’re actively involved with the academic community.
