Military

Currently the SEAS simulation engine is being utilized by Joint Forces Command (JFCOM), the United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), and the Crane Naval Warfare Surface Center. These highly technical and specialized organizations are able to take advantage of our dynamic and interactive simulations, which combine multiple theories from various disciplines to provide accurate real-time solutions to real-time problems.

About Us

Where We’ve Been

Synthetic Environments for Analysis and Simulation (SEAS) is the brainchild of Dr. Alok R. Chaturvedi. He got this idea during the briefing of Synthetic Theater of War (STOW) at the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA), in January 1993. In collaboration with Dr. Shailendra Raj Mehta, Dr. Chaturvedi directed the research project at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. This project would soon develop into the first version of SEAS.

After SEAS matured and was patented, the U.S. Department of Defense took interest in the project and requested a configured version to fit their needs. In March 1999, after securing an exclusive license to market the SEAS technology from Purdue, Dr. Chaturvedi (Chief Technology Officer) and Dr. Mehta (Chief Economist) founded SEAS LLC along with Cheemun Foong, our employee number one, as they embarked on an exciting journey. SEAS LLC and subsequently, Simulex, Inc. was born.

Where We’re Going

In just 14 years, Simulex, Inc. has established itself as a visionary in the technology industry. We have doubled in size, now employing a team of over thirty experienced, multi-disciplined programmers and project managers. Our portfolio continues to grow with the support of the U.S. Department of Defense and several Fortune 500 companies.
